A little bit of Red goes a long way

I haven't posted an outfit for a long time, so here goes.

I whip my hair back and forth :-)

I love my red Tory Burch slides, and my new red patterned sweater from H&M. The pants are from LOFT, t-shirt from Forever21, and bag from Fendi.  

So Ready for Spring

This was the coldest winter in New York for a hundred years. During the time that I've been in New York, more than 20 years, we've never had the snow stay on the ground this long. I am so ready for spring. This was my outfit on Friday: BR jeans, H&M sweatshirt, Zara shirt, Zara scarf, Stella McCartney bag. In real life you still needed a jacket though...

Black Friday

I don't know if it was a food hangover from the Thansgiving dinner or what but I woke up feeling miserable today. Thank god for medication, because I had promised to take my daughter out for Black Friday shopping, and my sister-in-law had invited us for dinner. I put together an outfit to carry me through both activities, combining some old and new favorites, and the over-the-knee boots that officially broke my shopping strike... 

Kirna Zabete tunic top, Lulu Bravo cashmere cardigan, Costco tights, and Target boots. 

The outer layer was my new Aerie scarf and my old fur west, with Fendi bag. 

My Favorite New Trend

...is the comfort sandals, or sport sandals, or whatever you want to call them. In my case, Birkenstocks. I mean, girls, I am so happy that I can wear Birkenstocks (BIRKENSTOCKS!!) as fashion. I have even worn them with socks (SOCKS!!) like below. THE BEST TREND EVER! Here's one quite typical Friday errand-running, hanging-with-kids outfit: JCrew denim shirt, H&M track pants, and old scarf, and my Nike Fuel to track my steps, calories, etc. This is me waiting for the school bus to arrive.

Vested

It's finally a little cooler in New York, and perfect weather for wearing a vest. This one is by Ralph Lauren (RLX). BR jeans, JCrew sweater, Bianco Footwear high heel sneakers, Nancy Gonzalez bag.

Different Stripes

We've been doing some back to school shopping with my 9 year old. She got some new stuff and mommy got some new stuff. Everyone happy. Here are our school supply shopping outfits, mom wearing Zara shirt, BR jeans, Tory Burch espadrilles, Nancy Gonzalez bag, Chloe sunglasses. Daughter wearing Gap jumpsuit, H&M bag, Kenneth Cole sandals, Ray Ban sunglasses.
