The Man
I'm sure that the man has put an appearance on the blog here and there, but I've never properly introduced him. Since he is such a big part of my life that seems kind of silly. He's my best friend, my children's father, most likely the person who knows me best, the person that I've grown up with, spent more than half my life with...

To make the long story short: I was au pairing in Connecticut, and at 19 loved to party, and went to clubs in New York City. We met at the legendary Limelight club in the fall of 1991, and been together ever since. It was pretty much love at first sight. For a few years we had a long distance relationship, but in the end I decided to move to New York permanently so that we can be together. We got married properly in 2001.

DeleteI went to Limelight a lot when I lived in NYC for six months in 1994 ! I actually remember bumping up to another Finnish girl in the restrooms there, that was hilarious...small world.
