Finland's Nature
The best thing about Finland is the nature. The many lakes, the coast line, the forests, the humble wild flowers, and the bounty that the nature offers in the form of berries and mushrooms. Finnish summer is so beautifully green. The growing season is short but it's intense with so much light during the summer. The Finnish forest has a calming effect, almost magical in its ability to relax and quiet the mind. Being in the forest is a meditation, good for the soul.

Finland
I've been here in Finland for over a week, and today I noticed that I'm finally calming down. I've been in an overdrive for such a long time that just learning to let go and relax has taken this long. It's almost scary. I really feel like I've stepped off of the race.
Thank God for Finland, and thank God for the Finnish nature. It really has the most amazing calming effect on you. Scientific fact, by the way :-)

The Earth Laughs in Flowers
I took all these photos from our summer house in Finland. The Finnish nature is so beautiful, the wild flowers so delicate while also strong, surviving and thriving despite the short summer season.
