When the spirit moves me, which usually happens in the spring when the earth begins to smell really good and the nature wakes up from its winter hibernation, I just love to dig the ground and plant stuff. Unfortunately, I admit it, I am a really bad gardener, because inevitably, I forget about tending the stuff that I planted. But wonderfully nature still works its magic and provides some harvest. My little daughter pointed out these tomatoes that were growing in our little patch. Some had already fallen to the earth, but these beautiful fruit were still attached to the plants. Can't wait to slice these babies up and enjoy them with some fresh mozzarella and a nice cold sauvignon blanc.
